NEAR FOUNDATION HIRES NEW COO & LEGAL COUNSEL
NEAR Foundation announced two new additions to its team, Bill Earner who will join as the new COO, and Christopher Donovan, who will join as legal counsel. LINK
NEAR FUNDING TEAM: REPORT OF REFER-AND-EARN PROGRAM
The NEAR Funding Team shares its 2022 Q2 report on its Refer-and-earn program that allows anyone to get rewarded for referring projects to the NEAR ecosystem. During last year alone, 26 referral bonuses have been paid out. LINK
DEIP WILL NO LONGER LAUNCH ON NEAR & OCTOPUS NETWORK
The DEIP core team announced that they will stop operating the DEIP application chain on Octopus initiating the beginning of the unbound period of its validators and delegators. At the same time they have also announced that they are no longer going to launch on NEAR Protocol. LINK

MeteorWallet has been awarded an advanced builder grant from the NEAR Foundation to further develop its product. LINK
