SUBMISSIONS FOR MetaBUILD III ARE OPEN
NEAR has announced the opening of the NEAR MetaBUILD3 Hackathon. During 8 weeks, participants are invited to unleash their creativity and build new innovative applications with the opportunity to win prizes for $1M USD in cryptocurrency. LINK

NEAR PARTNERS WITH CIRCLE BRINGING $USDC TO NEAR
During the Converge conference 22 in San Francisco, Circle, a global fintech firm and issuer of $USDC, announced a partnership with NEAR to make $USDC available on the NEAR ecosystem by the end of 2022. The introduction of $USDC to NEAR is set to empower developers to integrate stablecoin payment flows into Javastricp and Rust-based dApps unlocking a new wave of accessibility for Web2 builders. HERE WALLET WINS NEARHACKS NYC
HERE, a mobile non-custodial wallet for NEAR Protocol, creates a service that allows users to send NEAR FT and NFTs by phone number even when recipients do not have a NEAR Wallet. Though this creation HERE earned first place in the NEARHACKS competition. LINK

NEAR COMES TO BOGOTA DEVCON VI

ROUTER PROTOCOL SUCCESSFULLY INTEGRATED AURORA.
Router ecosystem now has access to an additional 4.5 million users of the Aurora Network. LINK
RAINBOW BRIDGE IS BACK AFTER ETH MERGE
On the 27th of September the Aurora team announced the reopening of the Rainbow bridge. Following Ethereumâs migration to PoS consensus and its increased time to block finality, the bridging time for transactions from Ethereum also increased to ~20 mins. LINK

$USN V3.0 EXPECTED FALL OF 2022
Decentral Bank has announced the launch of $USN V3.0 expected for the fall of 2022. With USN V3.0, Decentral Bank will bring three important features to the NEAR ecosystem: a stableswap, a Collateralized Debt Position (CDP), and $USN fees for all transactions on $USN. LINK
PEMBROCK DAO & STAKING FEATURES ARE LIVE
On September 27th, PembRock, the first leveraged yield farming application on NEAR, announced the launch of its DAO and staking features. Users can now stake $PEM, share protocol profit, and receive voting power in the form of vePEM token to participate in the governance decisions of PembRock. LINK
NEARSTARTER INCUBATES DOJO FINANCE
NEARStarter, a DAO-governed incubator, incubates DOJO, a wallet that offers a convenient solution to store, purchase, send, receive, and swap tokens and NFTs on the NEAR and Solana blockchain. To top it all off the DOJO wallet has round-the-clock customer service and it allows its users to keep their data 100% private. LINK
META POOL NATIVELY INTEGRATED INTO NEARFI WALLET
Meta Pool, the first liquid staking platform on NEAR, gets natively integrated into NearFi Wallet, a mobile wallet designed to allow NEAR holders to interact with all DeFi services on the NEAR blockchain. LINK
SPIN PARTNERS WITH DECENTRAL BANK
Spin is partnering with Decentral Bank, the issuer of the $USN stablecoin powered by NEAR. With $USN set to become one of the major assets in the NEAR ecosystem, Spin plans to launch more $USN stablecoin spot markets and launch $USN-backed derivatives in the near future, hence unlocking more opportunities to $USN holders. MINTBASE BRINGS INTEROPERABILITY TO NEW HEIGHTS
Over the past few months, Mintbase worked on improving its indexer stability, simplifying its data schema, and on indexing all NEAR NFT contracts that followed non-fungible token standards. This translates into an OpenSea-like environment on NEAR where you can deploy your NFT contract and automatically see all the NFTs in the system. LINK
